Question 1

How long does it take to get my order?

Accepted Answer

All our Silvanas are baked fresh in small weekly batches. Orders are typically ready within 3 to 5 days. When inventory is available, we can often prepare and deliver your order the next day.

Question 2

Do you have a physical store?

Accepted Answer

Not yet! We're a small-batch dessert brand and currently operate through online orders, popups and local delivery. All our Silvanas are baked in a licensed commercial production kitchen to ensure quality and safety. You can pick up your order at College Station or Jarvis St. while we continue to grow.

Question 3

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We offer local delivery within the GTA through a local courier service. Free local delivery on orders over $50. Outside our delivery zones, we cover half of the delivery. Delivery fees vary by postal code and are calculated at checkout.

Question 4

How should I store my Silvanas?

Accepted Answer

Silvanas are best kept frozen to maintain their crisp outside, soft inside texture. They can also be stored in the fridge if you prefer a softer and creamier bite.

Question 5

How long do Silvanas last?

Accepted Answer

Frozen: 4 weeks. Fridge: 5 to 7 days. Trust us, they usually don't last that long.

Question 6

Do you have halal options?

Accepted Answer

Our Silvanas do not contain any pork, lard or gelatin. They are not certified halal, but the ingredients used are pork-free.

Question 7

Do you offer gluten-free options?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our Classic Vanilla Silvanas can be made in a gluten-free version. Just select the Gluten-free option when checking out.

Question 8

Why are Silvanas a bit more expensive than regular cookies?

Accepted Answer

Silvanas are a specialty handcrafted dessert. Every piece requires baking meringue, whipping buttercream, assembling by hand, coating, freezing and carefully packaging. As a small business, we don't have access to the bulk pricing or automated systems used by mass-produced brands; everything is made in small batches with premium ingredients. Our pricing reflects the time, craft and quality that go into creating a product we're proud to share.

Question 9

What makes ButterBites Silvanas different?

Accepted Answer

At ButterBites, we make our Silvanas the traditional Filipino way, the same way they're made back home. Our recipe comes from our family, developed and refined over time. Each Silvana is handcrafted in small quantities using crisp cashew meringue baked to a light, airy crunch, silky French buttercream whipped in-house, NO starch ever, and our signature drizzle for the perfect finish. We don't rush the process, cut corners or mass-produce. Just real ingredients, thoughtful technique and a lot of love, the way it's always been done.

Question 10

What allergens are in them?

Accepted Answer

All Silvanas contain milk, eggs and cashews. Some flavours add other nuts like pistachio or pecan. Everything is made in a kitchen that handles tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy.

Can you do weddings or corporate gifts?
